FAQ

  • How do the shoes fit?

    Our shoes fit true to US Brannock sizing. It is the same sizing standards used by most major American dress shoe brands. Please take a look at our sizing guide. If you don't like your shoes to be tight you should order a size up.

  • Do Mockas shoes have an arch support?

    Mockas shoes have a very minimum arch support. However if you typically wear orthopedic insoles in your shoes, you may want to use orthopedic insoles in your Mockas. Mockas shoes are to be used with our insoles, the use of orthopedic insoles might make the shoe feel tighter.

  • How do I determine which size to purchase for myself or someone else?

    Please measure the foot from beginning of heel to big toe before purchasing. You can send the measurement in cm, mm, inches, or current shoe size (specify the type of shoe you are providing the size, running, loafer, etc.) The more information you give us the less returns = everyone happy.

  • Where do you manufacture the shoes ?

    They are made in Peru

  • I got my Mockas shoes dirty, how should I clean them?

    We do not recommend putting Mockas shoes in the washing machine. Instead, we recommend using a brush to remove all dust and then spray-on leather cleaner to keep your Mockas clean and looking good.

  • How does my purchase help a Non-Profit?

    Along with supporting the local Peruvian shoe industry with #fairtrade you also have an opportunity to help the Soles4Souls foundation. For every 5 pairs of Mockas sold during our Kickstarter campaign, we will donate one pair of shoes to Soles4Souls. Visit soles4souls.org for more information.

  • What Is Your Domestic Shipping Policy?

    Ground Shipping: Mockas offers FREE ground shipping on orders going to any destination in the contiguous United States. Please allow 1-2 business days for orders to process and ship. Orders placed before 1PM CST will generally ship that day. Orders placed after 1PM CST on Friday, and over the weekend on Saturday or Sunday, generally will not be processed or shipped out until the following Monday (or Tuesday if Monday is a national holiday).

    Once your order ships, you will receive an email with tracking. Please add info@mockas.com to your address book to ensure delivery.

    Expedited Shipping: We offer expedited shipping. Overnight orders must be placed no later than noon CST. Please note that overnight shipments will arrive by 8PM the next business day.

    Pre-Order Shipping: Items placed for pre-order will show an estimated ship date. This date is subject to change depending on factory production estimates.

    APO / FPO Shipping: Mockas offers free ground shipping and returns via USPS for orders going to any APO / FPO address. Please allow up to 10 business days for arrival.

    Other US Territories: We ship to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico and other US territories for a flat rate of $15.

    Mockas is not responsible for shipping delays due to weather.

  • What Is Your International Shipping Policy?

    Mockas offers international shipping but due to the high cost of shipping, international orders, with the exception of Canada, are FINAL SALE.

    We offer flat rate international shipping of $25 for up to size 5 kid and $35 for any other size and this is for each pair ordered. International shipping rates do not include duties or taxes.

    You may be responsible for import duties and taxes on your international order. Some orders may experience customs delays. Transit times are provided by the shipping company and are not necessarily guaranteed.

    Duties & Taxes: Duties and taxes are the customer's responsibility.

    Exchange Rates: Orders are paid in USD and the exchange rate will be calculated at time of purchase by the customer’s credit card processor. We are unable to offer adjustments for exchange rate changes. The exchange rate and international credit card fees will be dependent on the credit card that the customer is using.

  • What Is Your Return Policy?

    Domestic: If for any reason you are not satisfied with our product. You may return or exchange within 30 days after shipment for a full refund (minus shipping and handling).

    We request that items are returned in their original packaging. Items must not have been worn and cannot show any sign of wear/scuff, altered, washed or damaged. You must return the shoes in the same condition you received them. We suggest trying our shoes on carpet to ensure no scratches or damage to the soles.

    International: At this time, we only allow returns from Canadian customers. All other international orders are FINAL SALE. Canadian customers are responsible for shipping and handling charges for all returns. Mockas accepts returns of unworn and unused merchandise within 30 days of when you received your order. We do not issue any refunds or credits until we receive the shoes and ensure there is no wear or tear to them.

  • What Is Your Refund Policy?

    Once your return is received and inspected, if it is approved, we will then proceed with the refund and a credit will be automatically be applied to your original method of payment.

    The refund will be only for the portion excluding shipping and handling.

  • What Is Your Exchange Policy?

    Please remember that our shoes are handcrafted and there might be a slight variation from one and other. No shoe will be 100% equal to another. Still with that if you would like to exchange one of your items because they are defective, damaged, or don’t have the fit you prefer, we will be happy to do so.

    We offer a one time free exchange per order from any destination in the contiguos United States. This includes APO/FPO orders. You must request an exchange within 30 days of receipt of your order.
